Join us for a restorative, creative retreat at Quinta Camarena, a cozy, beautiful getaway in Portugal’s scenic Alentejo region. The natural enviroment with its’ charming views and peaceful surroundings offer the perfect space to write, paint, photograph, and reflect.
Whether you're seeking to focus on a project, or work in a creative community, this retreat offers the ideal balance of both—plus terrific food, and the local splendor of Portugal’s least touristed area, Alentejo.

Process & Fees
If you are interested in participating in this retreat, please complete the application form below and provide a writing or visual sample of your work. Also, in the message box, briefly state what creative project you’d like to work on in Portugal.
Once approved, you’ll be invited to reserve your space with a deposit.
Cost: $2,750.00
Apply before July 1: $2,500.00
50% deposit due at registration. Balance due 45 days before retreat. Deposit is fully refundable up to 60 days prior to retreat. Within 45 days, a refund of 50% will be granted.
